Hello I am a fairly new DM,
and I am currently startinga campaign soon, I prefer knowing what characters aspire to be so i can make a good story for them. Now one PC, who comes up with very unique chars. now has the desire to be a crazed CE assassin, with an army of animals(like rodents, squirrles, rats, ect ect)....*gives moment to let that sink in*

Now I figured it was possible if you had handle animal, leadership, and some fway to communicate with animals. Correct me if I am wrong, or any advice on how to treat this case. I dont want to say just no because I am not sure on the rules, because that may take away from his enjoyment of the game. Thank you for any advice...and man I need sane PCs.....

Be a druid. Go insane. Awaken everything you can find. Use leadership.

Beastmaster PrC, Complete Adventurer. Enter into it as a Druid/Rogue. He wouldn't need the Assasin spell list, and the poison would be handled by his choice of animal companions. He might need some feats to have access to Vermin and Aberrations as animal companions (Lords of Madness has the Aberration one, I forget which book has the feat for Vermin companion, but I don't think it has any prerequisites, just the list of things that can become companions and what their adjustments are).
