Greetings fellow DMs, Has anyone allowed a player to table an Artificer (from the Eberron campaign setting) in a setting other than Eberron? I am getting set to run the Shackled City campaign, and one of my players is begging me to let him play an Artificer. I looked it over, and it seems heavy on using dragonshards and dealing with constructs, which are rare and possibly non-existent in most other settings. Also, there's the action point thing, which can be worked around with a simple percentile roll or some such variation. I posted this in the classes section of the forum and got nothing, so I thought I'd bring it before the DMs. Any thoughts? All are welcome.
