Augmented Summon Undead? [Archive] - Wizards Community

The Augment Summoning feat adds +4 to Strength & Constitution of summoned creatures. The spell Summon Undead from Heroes of Horror says that you summon undead to fight for you.

So, would the summoned undead benefit from the bonus to Strength only, since it has no Con? Or would they be completely unaffected by the Augment Summoning feat?

Anyone? Anyone?

01-11-07, 07:20 PM Buy the book, summoned undead can be augmented. They fit all the needed rules(they are a summoned creature). I, myself, also give them the bonus HP they would have gotten in they had Con scores too.

01-11-07, 08:09 PM Summon Undead is a Conjuration (Summoning) spell, so the effects of Augment Summoning apply. Undead have no Constitution score, however, so they gain no benefit from the +4 Constitution.
