| Endwyn03-06-07, 12:15 AM | What is the average size of a party in pre-generated adventures? Old adventures used to say "For a party of 4-6 adventures of level 9" or something similar. Is there a "standard" party size now for all adventures? How many gestalt characters do you think could run in an adventure without major problems? (Half the intended party size, another fraction, ect.) |
| Yokomohoyo03-06-07, 12:54 AM | I normaly play/DM with/for 3-6 players. Any less/more really slows down the game. Now in a gesalt game you could run it with 2-3 players and it wouldnt slow you down that much since its like running with 4-6 players really. If you decide to run with 4-6 gesalt players you will have to bump up the CR of the monsters bigtime since its gonna be like running 8-12 players in reallity. |
| danielinthewolvesden03-06-07, 03:39 AM | Four is iconic. Fighter, Cleric, Rogue, Wiz. Or Tank, heal-bot, skill-monkey, arcanist. Gestalt you can do with three, or maybe two, if you let them have a high point buy and Leadership. |
