| Epicweaver08-01-06, 10:52 AM | I'm in the process of building the BBEG who the player characters will be unwittingly thwarting with their adventures... The campaign is set in Eberron. I want him to be an elan, and I'm thinking about gestalting him to dread necromancer/telepath. He'll probably end up with a 36-45pt buy and double PC standard wealth. So any pointers on building him? Having both a few psionic characters and a spellthief, I'd like to give the party some "class feature" type options to effectively use against him. He needs to have strong telepath-type powers and the ability to create/summon undead. The party is built of 6, 32pt ECL3. And I'm planning on building the BBEG at ECL10 (since they won't be facing him for a few levels at the very least)... (P.S. I've been considering making him a Wilder/Dread Nec to synergize with a high Charisma, but I think that would limit his access to the nastier Telepathic powers which I want to be a core flavor for him). |
