Stafir Ortnev 03-03-05, 12:15 AM	It basically refers to the main antagonist of an adventure..or a set of adventures..or the entire PC's lifetime. He's basically..the guy pullin the strings...causin the problems that affect the PC's (or they are trying to face). The final guy who..if they take down...will cause much of their own worries and problems to go away/be easier/break down/etc. Since D&D is usually Good PC's vs the others..the BBEG is usually..well...Evil...and since this is the 'end' Evil guy..he's gonna be pretty beefy. Hence. Big Bad Evil Guy

Campaign 1 = BBEG Campaign 1a (they think 2) = TOBBEG (The Other Big Bad Evil Guy) Campaign 1b (they think 3) = TUBBEG (The Ultimate Big Bad Evil Guy) Sometimes I will throw a TUBBEGBB (The Ultimate Big Bad Evil Guy's Big Brother) In the end though it all comes together as one giant 10-20 year story.

cambric 03-03-05, 10:24 AM	BBEG...surprised my last group: Big Bad Evil GIRL!! The one they "thought" was the BBEGuy was her brother, who wasn't the real threat...wow, they were SO surprised! Wish I had a video camera...they've never fought a "girl", so they were quite taken back...until she unleashed her fury, they suddenly found themselves not caring if it was a girl or a guy...! In our new campaign, it's: Big Bad Evil GNOME! :D They have already "befriended" the guy...this is going to be interesting. Cam

Doesn't everything always boil down to biscuts, eggs and gravy in the end? Incidently, I once refered to the Hardee's loaded breakfast bowl as the BBEG (bowl of biscuts, eggs and gravy). The guy who was with me (a roleplayer) just about choked on his BBEG from laughing so hard.
