After starting a new game after getting a campaign purchased or home made the DM should make additional tibits of information. Please add anything I forget

1) A list of house rules
2) Detail Paladin moral code of conduct!
3) List of accepted books
4) List of nerfs or buffs each class or race that a player plays. (If there none no need to make one).
5) A list of restricted feats, use of skills (No more Bluffing the party that he really didn't steal from them when is caught red handed).

6) A list of what the pc's know
7) Maps of the Areas that your players know. Don't show them the layout of the imperial palace unless the player would know it.
8) A list of races and their positions in the world
9) any rumors, true or false, but mostly true that your players should know about. For example, there is a rumor that the empire has a secret police force.

10) any sort of outline for what the campaign is going to be about so the Players don't make ridiculously unmotivatable PCs.
11) what type of area the campaign will take place in, if it's in a city druids will want to know.
12) what level of character building is expected, is this supposed to be a challenging game where the PCs need to be built to the max to survive, or a more leniant game where a PC won't die unless its the BBEG fight.

13) Dicing-up or point-buy?
14) A *brief* "History of the World", especially for a home-brew.
15) Find out ahead of time if anyone smokes; if they do, have all players agree on smoking rules ("Only outside during breaks" or whatever)
16) Where is your game going to be held? Is there enough parking? Enough chairs? Adequate table space? Access to a fridge or microwave? Extra toilet paper? Where's the nearest pizza place? ;)
17) How long and late will you be playing? How often will you take breaks, and for how long? How late can a player arrive and still be fitted into the game? How much notice do you want if someone is going to be late or absent? How are you going to handle the characters of absent players?

Well maybe not a pre Campaing thing DEFINATLY a pre-game precaution.
Always have a Plan B for adventures. No mattter what you will find your PCs are just as likly to screw up as succeed. So be prepared to take an adventure or even campaign in a whole new direction rather then railroad.
