I am starting a campaign and need some adventures to both bring the party together, and get them to a higher level so i can do some of the cooler stuff i got ready. Any help will be appreciated.

I find that having them start the game together is the best stratagy, I have only had a half dozen games where the players meet up at the begining and they are never worth the trouble of planning it all out.

As for early adventures I find that an attack on the PC's by a random thug, a thug that belongs to a gang, a gang that is controled by the mafia, a mafia that is under the control of an evil church, a church that the player's mentor belongs to, tend to be really good starter adventures.:)
If the players beat the punk, they can kill him, and inspire reprisal. If they let him live, the punk feels embarassed and comes back for revenge. Or the players can kill him, and then seek to end the gang the thug belongs to, because some minor damsel in distress comes up to them and says something like "wow, no one has stood up to the (insert menacing gang name here) before, you must help our neighborhood to be rid of those terrible hoodlems."

But you can do what you want.
