| AmanitaEata08-10-05, 02:25 PM | A good friend of mine (and a player in my campaign) keeps calling about our next D&D session, but you know what? I don't feel like talking to the guy. He always wanted to tell me about boring garbage, like which comic books he just bought. With caller ID, I never have to take his call ... but he still leaves messages. As his DM, what's the best way to not call him back? |
| BlackFiend08-10-05, 02:33 PM | Email him. Tell him you are busy and its best to just email you back and forth. |
| Board_Rider08-10-05, 02:38 PM | Well, theres the simple act of not calling back. That works. If the guy keeps calling you during the week then tell him at the beginning of your next session that he has to stop. Say something like "Look dude, were cool and all but, honestly, I could care less about your happenings during the week" Gotta play hardball. Tell him to email you with any questions regarding the game. Other than that, change numbers. |
| AmanitaEata08-10-05, 02:38 PM | Email him. Tell him you are busy and its best to just email you back and forth. Really, I'd like no contact with him at all, if possible. He's a good friend and a great guy that I enjoy spending time with, I'm just not interested in ever having contact with him. Can't he just show up to D&D sessions, do his thing and leave me alone otherwise? |
| Herald of Jupiter08-10-05, 02:43 PM | the EXACT same thing happened to me! A friend o' mine kept bugging me with his soccer matches (I couldn't care less). Now, I know him very well, and I know he can take a lot of criticism. I just said it to him, that I was bothered by him calling me for every little thing. He just said: "OK man, didn't know I was bothering you with it." We still see each other about every week, we're still good friends. Just talk to him about it. |
| Melichor08-10-05, 02:45 PM | Maybe it's time to evaluate how you really feel about this person: "He's a good friend and a great guy that I enjoy spending time with..." "I'm just not interested in ever having contact with him." He's either a good friend etc. OR You're not interested in having contact with him. If you don't want to play D&D with him........tell him. |
| AmanitaEata08-10-05, 02:54 PM | He's either a good friend etc. OR You're not interested in having contact with him. It's like I said: Both. Whenever I need to borrow money or need help moving heavy furniture, he's right there to help out. He lets me borrow his belongings all the time, and he's really cool about me spending a lot of time with his girlfriend. The guy couldn't possible do more to prove himself to be a good friend, and a good friend is what I consider him. I just don't really want to be contacted by him or anything is all. If I need him for something, I'll call him. I just don't know how to tell him that without impacting our D&D game. |

Sounds like you use this guy when you want him for something, and want to keep useing him. And maybe want to take his girl away. It sounds like he thinks your a freind of his who he plays D&D with, and so that is how he treats you. Frankly life just don't work that way. If you have someone as part of your life - you borrow things, have the same social circle (as shown by you being around his gf), helps you move, and play D & D with him - he is going to think your his friend. If you think someone is your freind you are going to call him now and then. If he isn't your freind (a freind isn't someone who does nice things for you and who you rollplay with once a week but otherwise doesn't call you) stop borrowing things, stop having him help you and just rp with him. You might be a decent person who described this wrong, but it sounds bad. |
| AmanitaEata08-10-05, 03:12 PM | If you think someone is your freind you are going to call him now and then. I do call him now and then. Heck, I called him just three weeks ago when I needed to get some bookcases upstairs and needed a hand. So it’s not like I never reach out to him. I do. If he isn't your freind (a freind isn't someone who does nice things for you and who you rollplay with once a week but otherwise doesn't call you) stop borrowing things, stop having him help you and just rp with him. You might be a decent person who described this wrong, but it sounds bad. I don’t know what sounds so bad about it. I mean, his girlfriend thinks I’m a good guy, so I can’t be all that bad, and if he didn’t think I was a good friend he wouldn’t do all this stuff for me and would get mad that I spend so much time with his girlfriend. But we’re drifting off topic here. I don’t want to examine my friendship with this guy, I just want to know the best way to not call him back. |

You/this can't be real!! Let's see: You're self-centered...self absorbed...and wanting his friendship only when it's right for you...and you're wondering about how "not" to call him back? Too bad he couldn't see this post...maybe he would wake up and realize it's HIM that doesn't have a friend!! What's next, steal his girlfriend and ask him to be the best man at your wedding...as long as he pays for the wedding, doesn't speak to you, and clean up afterwards?? Wow...the first person that I'm going to have to "ignore". Unbelievable!?!? This has "TROLL" smell all over it...what a $@## Cam |
| Sithis08-10-05, 03:24 PM | Sorry, sounds like you just want to use this guy. Figure out how to do that on your own. |
| AmanitaEata08-10-05, 03:28 PM | This post is a joke, right?? You/this can't be real!! Let's see: You're self-centered...self absorbed...and wanting his friendship only when it's right for you...and you're wondering about how "not" to call him back? Nice bout of namecalling. Is that all you have to offer? Because if it is, you should just move along and let people who want to post on topic, you know, post on topic. Your personal attacks on me, by the way, were very much unecessary. What's next, steal his girlfriend and ask him to be the best man at your wedding...as long as he pays for the wedding, doesn't speak to you, and clean up afterwards?? I have no plans to marry his girlfriend, as I am already married. But thanks for asking. This has "TROLL" smell all over it...what a $@## Yeah, whatever. Isn't this kind of namecalling against the CoC? If you don't want to post on the topic, stay out of the thread and keep your namecalling to yourself. It's not only unwelcome in this thread, it's against the rules. |
| Phrennzy08-10-05, 03:33 PM | I do call him now and then. Heck, I called him just three weeks ago when I needed to get some bookcases upstairs and needed a hand. I honestly cannot tell if this is just a trolling post or not. I know you have a weird sense of humor, and I can see you running a thread like this (He's my good, but I don't want to talk to him). However, if this isn't a joke, it's sickening, and you are a horrible person. But given those two choices, I'm voting "Joke Thread". As for 'on-topic' advice, confront him like a man. Although I always thought you were a woman, judging from your posting name. Apparently I am wrong. So stand up like a man and just level with him. |
| scott64408-10-05, 03:35 PM | Looks to me like certain monikers (already mentioned above) apply to the OP. Friendship is a two-way street. Not a deal where one guy contacts the other whenever he wants to get something, and the other tries to actually be social but isn't tolerated in their efforts by the first. That's not a friendship. Never was. Never will be. I just hope the OP doesn't use this standard to determine who does and who does not qualify as a friend. |
| Bruunwald08-10-05, 03:57 PM | I honestly cannot tell if this is just a trolling post or not. I know you have a weird sense of humor, and I can see you running a thread like this (He's my good, but I don't want to talk to him). However, if this isn't a joke, it's sickening, and you are a horrible person. Trolling or not, it's probably not worthy of our time. |
| BeyondFated08-10-05, 03:58 PM | Nice bout of namecalling. Is that all you have to offer? Because if it is, you should just move along and let people who want to post on topic, you know, post on topic. Actually, he in no hindered my, or anyone else's, ability to comment on this topic. Unless he somehow has complete control over the internet, noone can stop anybody from posting. Unless they are a mod; mods have the aformentioned power of the internet. :D |
| MystaraGM08-10-05, 04:03 PM | Seriously, dude, if you are going to keep posting issues like this on the board, then you need to take the criticism. Answering your original question... I would level with the guy and tell him that you'd rather not hear about his day-to-day activities. I'm willing to bet, though, that he is going to cut down on doing things for you and start getting mad that you're bogarting his girlfriend. I agree with scott644, friendship is two-way. Maybe he doesn't want to lug your bookcases up the stairs, but he does because you're supposed to be friends. In return, he wants you to listen to him ramble about his day a bit. We all do what we don't want to do sometimes for family and friends. |
| Board_Rider08-10-05, 04:04 PM | This has "TROLL" smell all over it...what a $@## I'll back ya up on this one. AE I thought you were serious in the beginning too but after reading some of your responses this is just a joke thread..or you're a joke. Either way, before you start spouting things about CoC violations you need to rethink about what you post first. Asking rhetorical questions isn't going to win you any sympathy. If you want to use people and not have anything else to do with them than thats all fine and great. You don't however need to post about your so-called "problem" when, in fact, it isn't one. You want advice? Grow up. Act like a man and tell the guy: "Look I like gaming with you and using you for physical labor. Thats it. If I got something to move I will call you...if I have something that I need to borrow I will call you. If, however, I want someone to drink with I will not call you. Got that?" If he continues to call you after that, then ask him not to call you. Simple as that. Really isn't that difficult. Please tell me you are not that inept, chief. |
| AmanitaEata08-10-05, 04:12 PM | Seriously, dude, if you are going to keep posting issues like this on the board, then you need to take the criticism. Answering your original question... I would level with the guy and tell him that you'd rather not hear about his day-to-day activities. I'm willing to bet, though, that he is going to cut down on doing things for you and start getting mad that you're bogarting his girlfriend. Maybe. I don't mind him getting mad at me - he being a pretty small dude and all, he would be violently hurt if he tried anything - I just don't care to crush his ego, you know? I'm not one to hurt someone's feelings. That's just not cool. But maybe just telling him that I don't want to have any contact with him would be for the best. He can drop by for the game and spend time with his girlfriend at our weekly game sessions, and that can be that. Maybe he doesn't want to lug your bookcases up the stairs, but he does because you're supposed to be friends. Trust me, this dude doesn't have anything better to do with his life. And in saying "life," I'm being generous. But your point is well taken. |
| Alynn08-10-05, 04:17 PM | I will just reiterate what I said in your wife thread. You sir, are an ass. And lucky you, you are the first person on my ignore list. |
| AmanitaEata08-10-05, 04:20 PM | I will just reiterate what I said in your wife thread. You sir, are an ass. You sure didn't do yourself any favors by posting that. MystaraGM, I might call this guy tonight and tell him what the deal is. (I hope he doesn't ask for his Xbox back) |
| MystaraGM08-10-05, 04:21 PM | Maybe. Any which way you say it, if you tell him you only want to talk to him at game and when you need help, he's going to be upset. I hope he drops the game and asks his girlfriend to drop out too. |
| AmanitaEata08-10-05, 04:24 PM | I hope he drops the game and asks his girlfriend to drop out too. He might. She doesn't actually play in our sessions, so there would be no dropping out; she's just there to hang out with me while we game. We'll see how the situation pans out and take it from there, I suppose. |
| Azual08-10-05, 04:32 PM | its obvious that this man.. AmanitaEata, missed that day in kindergarden when they told you about friends. From what ive read, you are suffering froma severe gravatational dysorder. in essence, you think the world revolves around you. If the guy wants to talk about comic books, no matter how boring his topic is, you have to remember that you must listen to him. By offering your ear, you are paying him back. For instance, i have a friend who loves to talk about real estate. he loves real estate i mean its the only thing he can talk about. However, he and i also share an interest in other things, and so when he brings the subject over to real estate, because he listened to my statements about D&D i want to hear what he has to say. I dont blow him off just because it doesnt interest me. Now, i entered this thread thinking that the person you were speaking of was somehow an annoying player. I have had a few myself, and decided to come in and check it out. However, i doubt this has any merit being on a D&D message board. i mean, i feel like precious brain cells could have been spent following more useful agendas that finding out how you want ot use this dude then throw him away. |
| olshanski_home08-10-05, 04:39 PM | I will just reiterate what I said in your wife thread. You sir, are an ass. And lucky you, you are the first person on my ignore list.I agree with Alynn 100%. Unfortunately, the top spot on my ignore list is taken... the OP gets spot #5 or #6. Bye! |
| Siduakal08-10-05, 04:53 PM | o.O Wow.. I am unsure if this is a joke thread. If it isn't, I feel bad for the guy. I mean he's treating you like a good friend, and you're pretty much taking advantage of that. I swear, people did this crap to me all the time before I went through boot camp. If this isn't a joke, you need to get the **** kicked out of you. Really sad man. |
| spoogemonkey08-10-05, 05:08 PM | If you are serious: Why not just tell him that you aren't interested in comic books? Gee.... that seems.... somehow.... too.... open and honest for you? And this guy is a Friend, but you can't be frank with him? Note to self: Am I a good friend? If you are joking: Every time he brings up comics books you say, "How much Life Insurance do you have?" or "Have you commited your soul to the Lord?" He will eventually quit bringing up comic books! |
| BeyondFated08-10-05, 05:20 PM | Trust me, this dude doesn't have anything better to do with his life. And in saying "life," I'm being generous. --- I hope he doesn't ask for his Xbox back Oh yeah, you’re a winner. I can defiantly see why this guy is your friend. Why, your sparkling personality alone is enough that some people would want to worship your greatness. In all seriousness, you sir, are what I like to call "D-bag-jerk-#$@&' (censored for the kiddies, I'm such a nice guy). And in saying that, I'm being generous. |
| Siduakal08-10-05, 05:28 PM | He can drop by for the game and spend time with his girlfriend at our weekly game sessions, and that can be that. Are you ****ing his girlfriend? It sure sounds like you're pimping out time with her to him. |
| EvilDuck08-10-05, 05:32 PM | Dude, I got someone just like this. Except I don't have him help me move furniture. But your problem is that this guy's really useful to have around, but he annoys the hell out of you? Well, first you need to weigh his usefulness against his annoyingness. If he's not that big of a help, just tell him to **** off. However, if he is, then start trying to get him to be less annoying. If he starts talking you up on the phone, have something come up after you've reached your limit. Your wife needs help with the dishes, your dog just cast befoul on the carpet, you've stepped on glass and need medical attention, etc. The email thing works out too. If you don't want to read it, you don't have to. Sometimes just tell him that you're flat-out boring him. Either he'll see you're using him(which he should have already) and stop being your friend or he's already aware of the fact and doesn't care, due to emotional or social problems on his end. If it's the latter, and I bet it is, you can be as much of an ass to him as you want. Not that you should, just don't pull every punch. Savvy? |
| imperialjunkie08-10-05, 05:42 PM | Yeah! I have someone else to add to my ignore list, right next to xlawedjeanne. It amazes me to find peope who are so callous and socially irresponsible as to treat 'friends' like animals. Heck, even animals shouldn't be treated this way. |
| Kittencaboodle08-10-05, 05:45 PM | He's a troll, let the thread die. Check out his post below, as well as the "Drunken DM" post in What's a player to do. He's flame bait and not worth the TOS violation. |
| Arrowhen08-10-05, 05:49 PM | Have your wife handle all your calls. |
| EvilDuck08-10-05, 05:53 PM | He's a troll, let the thread die. Check out his post below, as well as the "Drunken DM" post in What's a player to do. He's flame bait and not worth the TOS violation. How is he trolling? |
| Santrilla08-10-05, 05:54 PM | How is he trolling? Are you telling me a single DM can have a group with an obese person, someone who drinks too much, his wife AND someone he doesn't want to call back? And be offended by them all? |
| EvilDuck08-10-05, 06:00 PM | Are you telling me a single DM can have a group with an obese person, someone who drinks too much, his wife AND someone he doesn't want to call back? And be offended by them all? Saw his wife thread. He's a [implement for cleaning the private parts of women]nozzle. |
| Slumbersigh08-10-05, 06:00 PM | Are you telling me a single DM can have a group with an obese person, someone who drinks too much, his wife AND someone he doesn't want to call back? And be offended by them all? Unless my reading of the wife thread was poor, which is possible but highly unlikely, as I an a superb reader, I believe the issue is that this person’s wife is not a player but wishes to be, therefore she is not yet a part of the play group equation. I am not yet familiar with the “drunkard” you reference, however. If it is not in this forum, where would I find the thread? EDITED INTO THE POST: None need provide me with a link, as I have found the thread in question. It appears to indicate that the individual who drinks too much is not a player, but rather the original poster's "part-time" DM. I can only surmise that this means the alcohol abuser presides over a side campaign that the original poster participates in. Whether or not this individual - meaning the drinker - is also involved as a player is unclear to me. |
| scout98908-10-05, 06:09 PM | Ah yes, that one would be in the "What's a player to do?" forum. It is actually the only one of these he managed to make sound believable. |
| Siduakal08-10-05, 06:10 PM | I haven't seen the obese one. |
| Pain The Unbeliever08-10-05, 06:15 PM | I cant wait untill this "troll" starts a thread about how he brought a puppy to his last session so he could kick it in game, and then ask why everyone is mad at him just "role-playing". |
| scout98908-10-05, 06:17 PM | Hey, we have a "Guess the Dice" competition going on right now, why not start a "Guess the Troll's Next Post" competition? I can't see any reason not to hijack his thread for it- it'll get shut down soon enough anyway. |
| Vharuck08-10-05, 06:20 PM | And I step back into the forums with all my usual self-righteousness and pseudo-intellect. As a third party person, I am not addressing the OP. I am addressing this to all who read this post. Narcissism. The OP seems extravagantly engrossed and amazed by himself, but feels that all others are not up to his level and not worthy of real respect. Narcissism isn't just a term that can be used daily (though it can be used that way), it's also a personality disorder according to the DSM-IV (psychology book for disorders). He must have an amazingly hard time seeing things and imagining things from another person's viewpoint. If he offends somebody telling a joke and they cry, he still thinks it was a funny joke and they're wrong. Also, as to why people are still friends with him, those with Narcissistic Personality Disorder obviously have high self-esteem, which makes them attractive and gives them a radiant and magnetic personality. Now to the OP: get help. Seriously. If you think you're right, you need it. This may affect not only your social life (which apparently suffers) but your career (whatever it may be) as well. I hope I helped. Edit: I am not a doctor. I am a sophomore in college at UMBC who is studying psychology. I did not diagnose anybody with anything. I merely suggested to keep this in mind and described the disorder (cuz learning is fun!). Do not hold me to anything you accuse the OP of. I accuse him of nothing. But from what I've seen, if this isn't a joke, he is pretty abnormal. |
| Aeolus9108-10-05, 06:29 PM | Heh, I hope this is a joke. Please? Because if it isn't, you're one messed up mofo. |
| Aluroon08-10-05, 06:45 PM | Let's see: You're self-centered...self absorbed...and wanting his friendship only when it's right for you...and you're wondering about how "not" to call him back? Too bad he couldn't see this post...maybe he would wake up and realize it's HIM that doesn't have a friend!! | loaba08-10-05, 08:17 PM | A good friend of mine (and a player in my campaign) keeps calling about our next D&D session, but you know what? I don't feel like talking to the guy. He always wanted to tell me about boring garbage, like which comic books he just bought. With caller ID, I never have to take his call ... but he still leaves messages. As his DM, what's the best way to not call him back? Why run from the issue? You could talk to him directly and be done with it. And why is this in the DM forum to begin with? |
| ceithlynn08-10-05, 10:59 PM | You, AmanitaEata, are a slime. I hope he find out about this and slugs you. Hard. |
| Ze_Mighty_Vegetable08-11-05, 01:07 AM | Answer and say you'll meet him somewhere (the farter, the better, to be honnest) in an hour. Forget to go. Make a party at his place. Without him knowing. Arrive early with a lot of firends. He won' throw you out. Play all sort of stupid games, make him think that's what people do at party. Play monopoly drinking games! Limbo! Pinata! Swear-word Scrabbles! Trivial pursuit meet twister! After a few hours, leave for a bar with the whole bunch. Oops. Trouble his, Not enough place in the cars for him. Except with Carlo, but you know he don't like you. Phone him when you're having fun asking if you can stop by later to continue the party. At closing time, make good on your word, bring many friends to crash there. |
| YRM08-11-05, 07:27 AM | The best way not to call him back is to have your wife chisel a letter on a stone tablet, then have her drag that over to his mail box during an actual session. Put a GPS tracking tag on her ear to make sure she doesn't go in the house. That way, your wife will be out of the way with busy work, and your friend will be distracted by a giant stone tablet in his mailbox and not realize he missed the session until too late. Some women were angered that you offered to let your wife only do cooking and cleaning up for your gaming group, so, I think it's high time you offered other menial tasks so that people won't be offended. You try and you try to be a nice guy, but somehow, it just doesn't work out. *** on a side note, these posts are a riot, I don't know how people believe that they are serious, how can anyone not get that these posts are jokes? *** |
| ridiculous08-11-05, 09:00 AM | This is a joke for sure, I mean the original post was weird, the one after was horrible, but Xbox comment was just too much... Take the girlfriend and use the guy, ok, but jeez, the Xbox?? What's wrong with you? |
| Alynn08-11-05, 09:08 AM | Well see, I KNOW people like this IRL... so I can see this being ablsolutely serious... and I shouldn't so much say know, but are faintly aquainted with, because they aren't the type of people I'd normally associate with... Which is actually why I have a screening process for my D&D games... |
| AmanitaEata08-11-05, 09:31 AM | So, the conversation last night went something like this: /ring/ring/ ME: Hey man, it’s me. HIM: What’s up? ME: Yeah, ummm, you need to stop calling me all the time. HIM: Huh? ME: You call me nonstop, all the time, about minor stuff, and sometimes not for any reason at all. I see you two to three times a week already. Why don’t you wait to tell me all this stuff for when I actually see you? You know, rather than call me every instant something pops into your head? /pauses/ HIM: Yeah, you’re right. I guess I can be a little overbearing like that. ME: No (poop) man! /laughs/ HIM: Sorry dude. So we playing on Saturday or what? ME: You bet. HIM: Cool. So yeah, that worked out just fine. Thanks to the few people who didn’t troll this thread and try to steer it off topic. I wouldn’t have wanted to lose this player from my group, and I’m still in the middle of the new Splinter Cell, so I need that Xbox. I cant wait untill this "troll" starts a thread about how he brought a puppy to his last session so he could kick it in game, and then ask why everyone is mad at him just "role-playing". Interesting. The fact that I find three and four (and sometimes five) calls a day from a person I’ll likely see every 48 hours or so anyway is an indication that I abuse animals. Very interesting. Fact: I’d never kick a puppy during a D&D session. You and the rest of the trolls should climb back under your bridges. |
| scout98908-11-05, 09:35 AM | Well, now I see why the WizOs haven't shut down his threads yet- for those of us who can not take it seriously, these are indeed seriously entertaining! |
| PenderGrass08-11-05, 03:33 PM | Try video-taping your game sessions and ask her to dress in skimpy clothes while making your "friend" dig a hole, fill it, dig it, fill it.... "Boy, why is Boss's dirt out of that hole?" :dragon: **** |
| Siduakal08-11-05, 03:59 PM | Fact: I’d never kick a puppy during a D&D session. Yea! He only kicks them on the street! |
| Ze_Mighty_Vegetable08-11-05, 05:00 PM | Scratch him with a rusty spork. With any luck, he'll get tetanus and leave you alone. Get him to name you the beneficiary of his life insurrance and strat acting violent around him. He'll get the message (or you'll get the money. It's a win-win situation). Take a job at a local farm and pretend you need him to do you a favor and go work on manure fields for 2 hot summer days to help your uncle. You'd go, but their's this girl you HAVE to meet and since he's your buddy, he can cover for you... |

| UltimateReality08-11-05, 05:22 PM | Narcissism isn't just a term that can be used daily (though it can be used that way), it's also a personality disorder according to the DSM-IV (psychology book for disorders)..*snip rest of post* I think you're overestimating him. I think he's bored. And possibly trying to send a message. What exactly it might be is lost in the transmission, but it makes for a pleasant diversion on a Thursday afternoon anyway. Maybe if I read his posts backwards I'll find out if Elvis is still alive! Speaking of uncle..I really miss The Man from Uncle...at least that troll new some philosophy!!I really have to thank that man; it's because of him I know what the "Ignore" function is and how to use it. |
| orionm4208-11-05, 05:54 PM | I really have to thank that man; it's because of him I know what the "Ignore" function is and how to use it... :pint: So let us all raise our glasses and toast some of the great (and not so great) trolls past and present with an ode from Tolkien... :pint: Troll Song Troll sat alone on his seat of stone, And munched and mumbled a bare old bone; For many a year he had gnawed it near, For meat was hard to come by. Done by! Gum by! In a case in the hills he dwelt alone, And meat was hard to come by. Up came Tom with his big boots on. Said he to Troll: 'Pray, what is yon? For it looks like the shin o' my nuncle Tim, As should be a-lyin' in graveyard. Caveyard! Paveyard! This many a year has Tim been gone, And I thought he were lyin' in graveyard.' 'My lad,' said Troll, 'this bone I stole. But what be bones that lie in a hole? Thy nuncle was dead as a lump o' lead, Afore I found his shinbone. Tinbone! Thinbone! He can spare a share for a poor old troll, For he don't need his shinbone.' Said Tom: 'I don't see why the likes o' thee Without axin' leave should go makin' free With the shank or the shin o' my father's kin; So hand the old bone over! Rover! Trover! Though dead he be, it belongs to he; So hand the old bone over!' 'For a couple o' pins,' says Troll, and grins, 'I'll eat thee too, and gnaw thy shins. A bit o' fresh meal will go down sweet! I'll try my teeth on thee now. Hee now! See now! I'm tired o' gnawing old bones and skins; I've a mind to dine on thee now.' But just as he thought his dinner was caught, He found his hands had hold of naught. Before he could mind, Tom slipped behind And gave him the boot to larn him. Warn him! Darn him! A bump o' the boot on the seat, Tom thought, Would be the way to larn him. But harder than stone is the flesh and bone Of a troll that sits in the hills alone. As well set your boot to the mountain's root, For the seat of a troll don't feel it. Peel it! Heal it! Old Troll laughed, when he heard Tom groan, And he knew his toes could feel it. Tom's leg is game, since home he came, And his bootless foot is lasting lame; But Troll don't care, and he's still there With the bone he boned from its owner. Doner! Boner! Troll's old seat is still the same, And the bone he boned from its owner! |
| Patryn Runner08-11-05, 06:47 PM | Tell him that you hate comic books (except Archie) and that you need to use your phone for extremely important things: drug-dealing, bookie, my personal fav- ordering Archie comic back issues. That oughta send a clear message. or just don't call back. I only read the initial post before. Thanks for trolling our boards. I think you don't want to call him back because you have a serious case of manlust. Deal with your feelings. PR- |
