A reference to the Jack Chick religious tract about how D&D is a front for diabolism. It would be funnier if people didn't believe it.

Edit: My apologies if there's a written or unwritten rule about mentioning the above.

Black Leaf was a D&D character in Jack Chick's infamous anti-D&D tract Dark Dungeons. The main focus of the tract was to accuse D&D of being a front for Satanism, but Black Leaf was a sort of sideplot.

Black Leaf was a rogue (or rather, a thief, as D&D called them in those days). She was instant-killed by the DM early in the tract, apparently for failing to find a trap. Her player fell into a deep depression and committed suicide, in an episode of what some refer to as "Black Leaf Syndrome." By any reasonable standard, however, Black Leaf Syndrome is an urban legend.

Oh... my... God!

I must have the link to the first page because it wont let me go back. I need to see this from the begining so that I might properly see just how close minded and ignorant this truely is.

I thought it was against the rules to discuss 'that man' and things having to do with his horribly skewed views.

While not D&D related, still amusing...or scary.

Sorry, but discussion about Jack Chick isn't allowed on the boards. He really doesn't need our advertising, so why give it to him.}
