I have a slight query.

One of the Pc's (a half dragon psychic warrior) wields a greatsword. He also wields a bladed gauntlet at the same time. Now recently he has asked me whether he can have a special bladed gauntlet built which can act as a buckler as well. Now, although i do not think that this is majorly overpowered, i do think that it is abit. So i am just wondering what kind of penalties i should give him for using such a device.

There shouldn't be anything wrong with a bladed buckler, just don't let him use the blade and the buckler during the same round.

I'm going to agree with Phantom Lord here. The player can use it as a shield, or a weapon, but not as both during the same round, like a spiked shield or something.

You should also allow an improved shield bash with it.
