Last week I TPW'd my party on the shadow dragon in City of the Spider Queen, and 3 of them have decided to come back as clerics (heh!). So far, since it's Forgotten Realms, I've been extremely liberal with allowing the use of various rulebooks (3e and 3.5e for FR books only).

My first mistake has been allowing the use of the Blindsight 60' blindfold (9000gp) from Arms and Equipment. They all bought one, making the shadow dragon's Innate Cocealment, Mirror Image and Deeper Darkness all completely useless. While I later discovered blindsight 30' is available in the Underdark Guide for 30,000gp...

In addition, one of my players purchased a Third Eye out of the Psionics Handbook which gives +10 circumstance bonus to all concentration checks for 4,000gp - to me this item seems a bit too powerful. He doesn't have Combat Casting or Skill Focus (concentration), and only a +2 Con, but thanks to this item it is impossible for him to fail a concentration check even when grappled. I hate Psionics, don't allow classes from the book, and don't really want to deal with anything from it, but the player talked me into it.

Should I just suck it up and customize the module to strike at their few remaining weaknesses, or put my foot down on one or both of these items?

Hmm...while you are grappling, you have to fetch spell material, as a full-round action. And you cannot cast a spell with somatic component, unless it is stilled.
