Well this is the thing, some players would like to play a campaign or series of adventures related or directly connected to the Blood War.
So my question is, can anyone give me some advice, recommendations, books, etc.
Any idea would do.
The players do not only want to have some adventures, but to participate directly in the battle.
So, i´m all eyes

Try finding a lot of 2nd edition Planescape materials, especially Hellbound: The Blood War. There's a few adventures in there if I recall correctly, but they will require conversion to 3.5.

I own every Planescape product there ever was and I have to say it is my favorite setting, hands down. Google up a product listing for it and try to snag a few books on Ebay. They will really enhance any Blood War campaign you want to run.

Both Fiendish Codex books are recommended. FCI is a guide to the Abyss, and FCII is a guide to the Nine Hells. You might also want BoVD.

Thanks for the answers!
I´ll check those books.

And if anyone else can give some other ideas, they are welcome

Also, keep in mind that the Abyss isn't just using demons on their side. Orcus keeps a steady supply of token undead bolstering the Abyssal army.

And both sides use mercenaries as well.
I, too, recommend Hellbound, though it is one of the rarer/more pricey planescape products to get ahold of. You might want to go to one of the licensed sites that sells PDFs of 2e stuff and pick it up there.
Hellbound is epic (in the massive, planes-shaking scope sense, not the >level 20 sense). I ran Squaring the Circle out of it for my group, so if you PM me I can probably send you some of the conversions I did.
