I've an idea about how to "potionize" area effect spells such as stinking cloud, fog cloud, fireball, and the like.

The creator of the "bomb" potion is an alchemist that creates several other potions as well. The item creation feat: Brew Potion is what is needed to create a bomb.

Just like a spell in a potion, a bomb has the same stats as the caster (level, saving throws, etc.; like a scroll created) except anyone can use a bomb, just like anyone can use a potion. Consider bombs as "spells in a clay jug."

Bombs are thrown, and have a range similar to a tanglefoot bag and are otherwise treated as a tanglefoot bag, except when the bomb hits a hard surface, it disperses the spell effect from within, effecting ranges, targets, and the like as the spell would have been cast.

Whatcha think?
