kyros_the_spawnslayer 08-15-07, 08:19 PM	I AM making this thread in hopes that it will serve two purposes, one being recommendations on a campaign I will be running soon, and two that others can post here for books that could help their game. Alright I am trying to set up a game of your typical vamps vs. lycans. Now I do have the Libros Mortis and MM 2, 3.5, 4, & 5 but does anyone know any other books that might add some more flavor to this style of campaign? Also, on the side of lycans, will be a clan of lizardfolk "ratorthropes" that are enlisted to battle against the vamps.

Zerchai 08-16-07, 01:13 AM	In terms of flavor, you might want to look at the World of Darkness campaign setting (White Wolf games). I would strongly recommend their second-edition products, which should have the advantage of being a touch cheaper, since you'll have to find it used. Their newest edition is a little weak.

I don't plan on it, if it is not just an announcement that it will come out like next year sometime at the least. If they go the route of "let's keep it a secret to sell our 3.5 books which will immediately become obsolete" that will really damage their reputations (further).
Dirge 08-16-07, 09:54 AM	Heroes of Horror couldn't hurt for a campaign like that. You may also want to look into Expedition to Castle Ravenloft; aside from the adventure it contains a nice vampire hunting prestige class and some feats and magic items that could be useful.

kyros_the_spawnslayer 08-16-07, 11:22 AM	No didn't mean D20 white wolf Doc, just that if Wizards have there way (and they probably will) all of the 3.5 material I got might be rendered useless. But lucky for me I pretty much live in a "hayseed" area and doubt 4E will ruin me.
