Baloth King 03-09-07, 03:26 PM	What are the best books to buy that deal with undead? I have a few good ideas for undead-based campaigns, but I don't know what to buy, being a D&D noob and all.
Jalathas 03-09-07, 04:17 PM	Well Libris Mortis is your best bet, being the Book of Undead and all. Heroes of Horror has some good stuff if you're looking at that sort of game. Other than that, I don't know.
Frugal 03-09-07, 04:22 PM	Yeah, Libris Mortis is the obvious one being a whole book devoted to the subject of undead and running undead-based campaigns, it's exactly what you're looking for. Now depending on the focus, you might want to pick up Heroes of Horror (if you want to get more into a horror-based campaign). Just about every monster manual has new undead in it so if you want something interesting you might want to check that out but I found Libris Mortis had some of the coolest new undead. Other than that? Maybe the environment series (Frostburn, Sandstorm, Stormwrack) could be good. Like if you wanted to do a dessert-based undead campaign I'd definitely pick up Sandstorm.
