Books...good [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-08-05, 07:50 PM ive posted a thread simmilar to this but fergot to subscribe to it so hears another go
i cant fing a compleat list of published d&d books so if any body knows where to find one or can give me a list of there books that would be helpfuy
by the way i wasn d&d books not any other d20 system books (i no alot of other books are copesetic with d&d but i jsut want official ones)

Look on the main D&D home page under 'Products'.

11-08-05, 11:54 PM As a player all you need is the Players Handbook. As a DM you'll need a Dungeon Master's Guide, and a Monster Manual. Though arguably the SRD is all you'd need.

Some other helpful books for expansion:
Complete Arcane / Divine / Warrior / Adventurer
Monster Manual II & III
Libris Mortis
Draconomicon
and whatever setting books you need for the setting you play in...Eberron, Faerun, etc. There are other good books, but these are the ones I'd probably purchase first.

11-09-05, 12:21 AM If you know anyone around who has some of those additional books, it couldn't hurt to ask to take a look through them and see if you like them enough to get them. But in all seriousness, the DMG and the free online system reference documents are all you really need to play, but having the Player and Monster manuals is probably useful.

On an off topic note, I'm quite impressed that, despite using no punctuation and misspelling half the words in your post, you still manage to use the word copacetic.
