Once again I have decided it is time to expand my DnD library for my campaigns.
Help me decide based on your personal tastes for the books you know.

In the spotlight this time:

Sandstorm: There are several deserts/wasteland environments in my campaign that are very important to my setting due to historical significance.

Heroes of Battle: There are currently four separate wars being fought in my setting's material plane, and then there are trips to visit the blood war as well.

Libris Mortis: There is a lot of necromantic creepies crawling around on several key locations of the current campaign, including a villainous vampire.

Frostburn: I've wanted to further develop my arctic regions and mountain peaks for a long time now.

MMIV: Tiamat is easily the most important deity in my campaign and I actualy don't really mind the extra modified humanoid statblocks because I'm quite lazy sometimes and a few standard gnoll warriors could be very usefull.

Next to that I'd like to know of any good books that give better feat and spell options for clerics and possibly druids, but complete devine is from what I've heard not the way to go.

Rules:
Recommend up to 6 points worth in books spread any way you want, example:
Sandstorm 4 points: Its a good book, regardless of what your campaign is, but if it includes deserts and other wastelands, its must have!
Heroes of Battle 1 point: I'm not to fond of it myself but it is quite useful and probably will suit your campaign.
Races of the Wild 1 point: Its a good druid suplement, I recommend it.

So, anybody willing to give some advice?
Thanks in advance.

Libris Mortis.

While the others are all fine books and I wouldn't speak out against them, I think that Libris Mortis will add far more to your game.

Libris Mortis. There's great information about the ecology of undead to fuel your roleplaying needs (especially if your undead villians have 'appetites') and some truly scary feats, PrC's and spells to use. There are also quite a few good monsters in the book for a large number of CRs and roles. As I am also running an undead heavy game I find it invaluable.

I love Libris Mortis. It has a lot of nice stuff. Even the feats and PrCs alone make it a nice addition. Also, if you don't have it, Heroes of Horror synergizes with this one quite well.

Libris Mortis: 4 points. It's a good book for all things necromancy and undeadness, which synergizes well with Book of Vile Darkness and Heroes of Horror. I've made a couple of liches that used all three books to great effect.
Sandstorm: 1 point. I was running a desert campaign for a while when this book came out, it has limited applications outside the desert and wastelands, and it is somewhat limited being in them too.
Frostburn: 1 point. Same as Sandstorm, except to arctic and cold regions.

I do not own MMIV, so I decided not to include it, but if you own MM 1 through 3 you should have enough beasties for two or three campaigns. Heroes of Battle has been of limited use to me, but I still own it, and it never really factored in because it's in my "to read cover-to-cover" pile.

Hope this helps

Sorry, I forgot to rate mine :P

I'd put all 6 into Libris Mortis. That's mostly because I don't like setting books (such as Frostburn and Sandstorm, or the later Monster Manuals).

If you were considering Heroes of Horror (I don't know if you alrady have that), I'd put 4 for that and 2 for Libris Mortis. Again, they work well together.

Libris Mortis is very good. :)

Presuming every unrated vouch for Libris then is a 6 pointer:

Libris Mortis then leads with a comfy 28 points.
Sandstorm and Frostburn trailing with 1 point each, and the rest is stuck at the starting line.

Atleast last time it was a close race and Sandstorm did really good, but apparently the Libris is preffered.

I don't like doing this but it would be to boring and to inaccurate with such a small amount of replies.
So..... :bump:

For the DM,

Heroes of Battle: 3 (if you're going for a simplified version of mass combat, this will help)
Libris Mortis: 2 (A lot of stuff suited for NPCs but beware the nightsticks :P)

LM-4pts-outstanding book I have used soem of the spells for bad guys and really messed with my players.

MM IV-2pts-always helps to have more premade monsters at hand

nothing against Sandstorm, HoB, or frostburn but I have never really used any of them in my campains so I feel that if I have to spend $$ I want to buy something I know I'll use
