So, its my first time behind the DMs screen in awhile( I always have the problem of PCs grabbing my games by the horns and running them into walls. That was years ago though). I put them all on a train, heading to who knows where. The dragon decended sorcerer scouted ahead on the tops of the cars to see what was in the driving engine. I think he was looking for who was driving it and why it had no coal car. Well, its a 20 by 40 foot area, in the center is a huge black/purple circle and behind it the controls. He went back to the party (Who I have not regulated their actions in any way. I expect a PvP situation to occur soon). Now the thing I am trying to do is use the stats for 2 ogres in one creature and describing it as a huge dark black/purple creature. Giving it 2 sets of hit points and also 2 attacks, but it is unable to move(without a joint full round action) and each side can be killed seperately (I have gotten images of a black/purple arm sizzling away into smog as they keep fighting). I don't want to come out with an experimental encounter and either A. have them defeat it with ease or B. have them. They are all lvl 2 but there are 6 players, 2 of them being warforged, but they also lack a healer.

I'm not sure what you're asking. Ogres are always fun. Or oozes.

Well I kind of want to basically run two ogres side by side stat wise. But it would be one creature, a huge creature. It would have a reach of 15 ft instead of the 10 ft an ogre would have. Then basically run if from there like one big creature with two arms making seperate actions, like one 'arm' could make an attack while the other 'arm' grappled a PC. I'm not sure if it would turn out well. I was thinking of it taking it a full round action on part of both 'sides' for it to move incase they all stay back and lobbed shots at it (I doubt that will happen though).

Check out the ettin and base your ogre thingy off of the rules for it... each head controls a hand type thing
