| Roidragerulez02-23-08, 03:26 PM | I am running a Bahamut vs Tiamet campaign and my group are semi-choosen of Bahamut. The leader of my players is a Half-giant crusader that used to be a dragon born but lost it because he died, and Bahamut took it to save his life. Anyway after that he keeps on sacrificing himself at any fight even the ones he can't win and doesn't listen to the players with information on the fights so I was going to have them meet Bahamut in a dream and I was going to have him bound the Half-giants soul with another player so if that player dies he will and vice versa. But I started to think that maybe I should bound him to the whole group so that he is protective of the group and not willing to sacrifice himself to do so. So basically my question is should I bound him with one player or the whole group? Thanks for help in advance... |

Next time he gets snuffed, have Bahamut tell him that he's reached his limit. No more rezzes, and he's no longer one of his Chosen. First, he no longer has enough connection to his dragon heritage for Bahamut to have influence over this matter anymore. He had to strip the character of his dragon-hood just to save him last time. Secondly, he should have picked someone more competent than a fool who, when chosen to champion a cause, decides he has nothing left to live for. There's no reason that this character can't stay with the party, and perhaps redeem himself. But he needs a wake-up call. Tap him on the shoulder and bench him: smart coaches do it on the epic field of battle that is the sports arena... I can only assume a god would take it even more seriously. But give him one more rez, just so you can deliver that message. That's how I'd roll it. |
