| YRM01-05-04, 02:07 PM | Anyone else out there build terrain or paint countless miniatures for D&D? Even if you build stuff out of that plastic MageKnight dungeon (or use printed dungeon cut out grids) and populate it with the new, pre-painted plastic miniatures, that still counts as taking some effort for your gaming group. I was hoping people could link to photos of their efforts on this thread. Here are some photos of two buildings and a small amount of the minis that I've painted over the last few years. Let me know what you think and post some of your own if you can! Building/Mini Pictures (http://www.voidgamers.com/channel/HirstArts/b.100.html?author_name=YRM) |

Yes, I paint minis and I have a problem....(step 1) I was hoping for a decent digicam for Christmas to allow me to post some stuff without having to process/scan - but the fat guy did not come through (and neither did the bonuses from work). |

He sculpts his own minis from scratch and then resin casts them. I bought a pair of ropers and a gibbering mouther from him. They're EXCEPTIONALLY nice. |
| YRM01-05-04, 05:56 PM | Yeah, Peter Lee's Gelatenous Cube is famous. If you want to see the best of the best in the Hirst Arts categories, check out the winners of the HADD design derbies from past years on www.voidgamers.com (especially contest 4). |
| airhead01-05-04, 08:57 PM | YRM, sounds like you would be more at home in the "mini help forum" Mostly paint addicts like myself, but some real talent is there as well. Post some work there where we can ooh & coo. |
