I had a player ask me a question awhile back. He said "If you bullrushed someone into a wall, would it deal more damage?" I didn't honestly know what to tell him. It makes logical sense, but I couldnt find anything under Bullrushing that said anything about it. I was thinking that maybe I could say it deals damage equal to your strength modifier. Has anyone else run across this problem? Thoughts?

It doesn't. Sorry.

IMC, I generally let a player deal unarmed strike damage plus one and one half strength in lethal damage when they bull rush someone into a wall, but that is pure house rule.

This question would suggest that Bull Rushing deals damage in the first place, which isn't exactly true. That being said, I doubt that the average Bull Rush would deal any real damage at all. If the wall were covered in spikes, on the other hand...

Or if it was a giant of Mintaur, or other such abnormally strong being bullrushing someone into a wall...
thinking about it, I could see a creature like a minotaur doing more damage... although it would be a charge, not a bullrush... no, I don't think slamming someone into a wall would do too much damage... maybe some nonleathal damage or something...

I would use telekinesis-based spells and 'feats of wonder' to reference a bull rush.

Generally, you do 1d6/some condition for slamming your enemy into a wall or solid surface. Since you move with someone during a bull rush, I would say you do 1d6+str when bullrushing them into a wall.

Now, if you bull rush/smack them into the distance (probably through some feat or special ability) then you're probably going to use the 1d6/10 feet rule, or something like that if they do hit a solid object.

Kind of patched together, but it's from material at least.
