I"m feeling uninspired, and need to figure out what my players are going to be heading towards for the next section of the campaign, so I come here to ask for ideas.

Currently: Group has accepted a job directly from Kaius to negotiate for unamed materials that are in the Talenta Plains. The materials will be used (supposedly) to rebuild the bridge across Scion Sound and Kauis will then start diplomacy with Thrane (supposedly). An NPC is negotiating the fine points of the deal and I'd rather not have this party do any actual negotiating, they aren't suited for it. I have some vague ideas about a Tribe of halflings that have been very militant, they've attacked the PCs once and I've set it up so they'll at least attempt to assasinate the NPC. The PCs are now acting as bodyguards for her.

My original idea was for them to visit the Boneyard and either A)retrieve the material, or B) make an area safe.

So, to summarize, anyone have good ideas for what to do with the adventure in the Talenta Plains?

BTW: Party is all ECL 6, no Cleric, plenty of melee capability. (2 Fighters, Barbarian, Rogue, and Ranger) (1 Drow Wizard too.)

You could introduce an enemy force who is trying to hinder the building of the bridge. Perhaps some force of the Emerald Claw or perhaps one ofthe other nearby nations who would prefer to not see this bridge completed.

Something like this can thicken the plot surrounding the work that they are already in the middle of dealing with and give you access to some adventure ideas later on depending on how well the group can fend off the attacking force.

Forgot to mention. The Emerald Claw has subtly approached 1 PC and asked him to sabatoge the negotiations.

Maybe I should go post this on the Eberron boards. Anyways, I'll give this one bump before I do.
