Dear fellow DMs,

I am facing a situation where I need to abort/pause my current campaign and run a weekend session separated from the "main plot" due to availability issues with my players (not all of them can attend).

I'm looking for ready made campaign for a weekend of intensive playing. Party is 4 players with 3-4th level characters (one cleric, one rogue and two monks). I'd like to get your insight what adventure would be suitable for a weekend? My time is limited so I prefer to buy something and do only the necessary modifications if needed.

My assumption is that the material needs to have a content of 4-6 x WotC-site-adventures.

Thanks in advance,

Have you considered just running a few adventures that are fun to play without actually being a campaign? If so - I highly suggest Tomb of Horrors and White Plume Mountain. Fun adventures, downloadable at Wizards' site, and high lethality.
It requires 9th and 7th level characters respectively.

A friend of mine ran an interestign one of for curent characters when we all couldn't be there. He transported us all to a keep but didn;t let us use our cutrrent characters. instead, he put our character's minds in another's body role and position. Think of the old show "Quantum Leap". Anyway, the characters first had to find out who/what they were, and then had to figure out why they were there, and then they had to figure out how to get back (following the quantum leap thing, they would have to solve a mystery/injustice that happened at the keep). The advantage to this one is that it allow the characters to share a rp experience, have an adventure, and gives your the ability to say that the other characters in the party didn't figure out what was going on, and therefore didn;t make themselves known. It also allows you to use the keep at a later date as a story element/plot hook.
