| Sezarious07-20-07, 06:37 AM | My storyline is original, but iv'e wanted to make it as a plugin to a book series i'm reading at the moment (If any of you has read the sword of Truth series). Iv'e used certain concepts from it and am basing the campaign in the same world as in the book, but am just restricting my characters from interfering with the actual story (bad, bad, bad, bad). The fact that everyone's in a seperate plane and slightly different timeline helps, naturally. My players also like the book series and are mildly pleased with the idea of having a bit of a background knowledge to the way peoples minds work in this world (and there is a trend) and a little understanding with history. They sometimes recognise some of the little details i use, such as the description of a cursed item i used. |
