OK I'm not sure how to chalange this Gnome Cleric of Wee Jas that is playing in my champaign. It is a very undead heavy adventure so that may be the reeason but I,ve even thrown 5 earth necromentals at him and he still won. He is level 8. HELP

Isn't he supposed to win? Or do you want to kill the cleric?

what does he do/why is it hard for you to challenge him/why is his build giving you trouble?

Commanded

A commanded undead creature is under the mental control of the evil cleric. The cleric must take a standard action to give mental orders to a commanded undead. At any one time, the cleric may command any number of undead whose total Hit Dice do not exceed his level. He may voluntarily relinquish command on any commanded undead creature or creatures in order to command new ones.

Dire bear = 12 HD, and i'm sure the dragon is more than his 8, too. The max he can command is 8HD worth of undead. Also, when things become undead skeletons/zombies, they lost pretty much everything as far as special abilities go. For example, the dragon wont have his breath weapon.

He cant command a dire bear for 4 more levels. And then, he can ONLY have the dire bear.

Either way, they are still mindless undead. Zombies/skeletons are easy to get around/kill. You can use the spell hide from undead and they cant sense you in any fashion, no save. However, this ends when you attack. Also: Disentegrate. Being undead, they have 1/3 fort saves, and no con to add to it. Meaning a 12 HD undead adds a whole 4 to his fort save. Fort save is basically the weakness of undead, because they dont have con to add into it.

No prob. You don't wanna go toe-to-toe with the big, beefy, undead idiot guardians. You want to outsmart them (because it's oh so easy :P). If you have to engage them in melee, be sure to bring a disruption weapon. It's only a DC14 fort save for instant death, so 50% chance for our dire bear friend, but that's for EVERY ATTACK. Gotta fail sometime :P
