In my game my players are about to enter the city of Gracklstugh in the Underdark. So I guess I'll begin to Draw the main Castel, but I've no idea to what to draw! :(
How many room, what kind of room, how many level.

Do you know if i detail of Gracklstugh can be found somewhere be side the little useless map from the Underdark book?

So what are you doing when you DM Confronted to this? What source of inspiration are you using ?

I use maps from 0one Games (http://0onegames.com/catalog/index.php?manufacturers_id=12), normally purchased (EXTREMELY cheaply) from RPGNow.

You can also recycle maps from other adventures or quest the web for free stuff.

This forum (http://www.enworld.org/forumdisplay.php?f=55) at Enworld is a good place to look for free maps - especially if you dig back deep enough.

Did you bought somes ? If yes witch one and how much page there in ? Is the room are detailed ?

01-30-06, 08:56 AM I think in the Archives section of D&D, you can still get to the Map-A-Week section. Theyre some basic maps that are free to download. They dont have a key detailing what each room is, but a little work, and you have your castle and maybe even the surrounding environs all plotted out.

- Drow Outpost
- Dwaven Stronghold
- Thief Guild

Each one are well detailed
2 - 3 level each -
Graphical display of the whole building and area
Note grid by level/room

And for 1.65$ it really cheap!!
