Cave rat from The Sunless Citadel [Archive] - Wizards Community

I have compared statistics for Cave Rat in the Sunless Citadel (3.0 edition) and Rat from Monster Manual 3.5. They have some difference. Is it because Rat in 3.0 and 3.5 has different statistics, or Cave Rats is different form Rat? If last one in which Monster Manual I can found description of the Cave Rat?

No, Cave Rat is tiny and 1/8 CR.

04-07-05, 10:10 AM Then perhaps it is just an advanced rat (using the monster advancement rules from the MM). I'd say just roll with it and call it a seperate species.
