First, I`d like to apologize for my errors, itīs hard for me explaining myself in English. Once said that, what would you think of this house-rule?:

1 All arcane casters use Cha as the attribute to calculate the DC to resist his/her/its spells, to check if they can cast a spell of a certain level, etc... This is oriented to fight against a some-kind of natural selection between classes in campaign worlds. Wizos will rule every world, I think. And I dont like unnatural high INT scores, hard to interpretate them, neither I like all my fighter-type characters to be stupid.

2 Skill points benefit themselves of a INT increment produced after their adquisition. To foment a good high INT stats for all classes. You work hard on something and somehow you develop your INT, everything you learned makes more sense now.

3 Feats with skill points as prerequisite instead of a certain Stat. Once again to foment a good high INT stats for all classes but allowing dumb characters to adquire said feats if they work hard on them.

:P

Dont be to harsh with me, I am a sensible man :D

i believe your rule underpowers wizards. sorcerers and bards already focus on their charisma to get more spells, and to augment their skills (especially in the case of perform-checking bards and lying, scheming sorceres.) their dcs go up and they reap the full benefit. but the wizards get screwed. if there is no high stat to toss into charisma for no other reason than to raise spell dcs, wizards stay at home crying, trying to figure out why they studied so hard and understood how to cast their spells so thouroughly, and yet are still uneffective. give wizzies the full benefit of their high intelligence. because, i know it'd suck if fighters and barbarians suddenly had to muster up enough charisma to get all those hit points.

Imagine that I make all metamagic feats to need a prerequisite in Knowledge Arcana skill, so wizzies with high INT would have easier to adquire them than a little short-mind sorcerer ;). Other full casters like clerics need usually to pay atention to, at least, two stats: wisdom and char, if I make them to need a Knowledge divine skill-level to adquire metamagic feats they would have a reason not to neglect INT. Same thing would work for every class through feats prerequisites. So all classes would benefit of a moderate-high INT attribute, which makes sense to me, not being the main one for anyone. :D (INT would be a little like CON, it is not the main stat for anybody, but it is important for all)
