04-17-07, 07:24 PM Regular Experts can spend their skill ranks over 10 skills.
Regular Characters can spend maximum (3+lvl) ranks per skill.
Is there any mileage in a Character Class that can spend more than 4 ranks per skill at 1st lvl?
Are they so focused that they get a bonus to Sense Motive?
Or are they so Paranoid, seeing Conspiracies where there are none that they get a minus to Sense Motive?

04-17-07, 07:37 PM You are reading the class wrong. The Expert NPC class (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/npcClasses/expert.htm), gains any 10 skills as class skills, and are resticted to the limit of maximum ranks in class skills being equal to level +3.

And just to nitpick, it is called Sense Motive, not Spot Motive.
