Which is not to be confused with a half-ghost. Ghost-bonded is where a spirit merges with your soul, and you recieve some of the aspects of being a ghost. Problem is is that i can not make the "Specs" of a ghost-bonded and keep it fare to the other players, and I can not simply perform an excorcism to remove it, because it is going to play a cruical part in my story line. Can anyone help me come up with a design for such a character? |

It could be really interesting especially since the two spirits should have different personalities, likes, dislikes, heck one could be male and the othe female. It could be a lot of fun to RP. Unfortunately this would mean 2 different character sheets and a lot more paperwork on your part, but would definately be worth it. |

Basicly the 'ghost' is riding inside the charecter, and loans it's power in situations. If the ghost is bonded to the party (Look at the DMG II for this concept. I forget what they call it), then the party could share the power of the spirit, and it can hope to different charecters as needed. I don't know if this helps, but that's how I would approch the situation. |

If the player gains the ghost's abilities as a decent artisan (Craft(Basketweaving), Profession(Basketweaver), Perform(Underwater Basketweaving), all.. oh, eight ranks), it's _hardly game-breaking. Something like Knowledge(Local) or K:(History) might also be appropriate. ... Mind you, that does help in becoming a War Weaver, but that's okay... XP-debt wise, you could give something like... +2 will saves, ability to affect incorporeals(Effectively, Ghost Touch)... maybe 3/day, for HD rounds, 'Mage Hand' at will. Something like that . ...Actually, that's still a bit low. Let's see... -2 diplomacy due to the eerie presence, and maybe some sort of a free Feat... Tomb-tainted soul? or something related to the ghost's past life? |
