03-23-07, 01:46 PM Charge does not grant immunity to or vulnerability to any AoO. It is exactly the same as if you moved normally up to the opponent and then made an attack.

If your opponent has reach and you don't, then the opponent gets an AoO.
If you have reach equal to or exceeding your opponent doesn't, then no AOO.

AoOs are provoked from any bystanders that threaten the path you wish to take to the opponent.

03-23-07, 01:52 PM I think there's some kind of "ready against a charge" action which allows for an AoE against a charge. You might want to check that, cause I'm not sure.

You can always "ready an action". It is not a special rule and is described in Combat. It does not grant an AoO, but rather uses up your readied action.

"ready against a charge" is just like "ready to attack anyone that comes with 5'" or "ready to fire an arrow when a spellcaster begins to cast" or any other readied action.

03-23-07, 04:39 PM I believe the feat is called hold the line, but I may be wrong. But it allows an AOO against somebody who charges you even if you have the same reach. And it sure can be a shock to a chargeaholic.
