| Jancarius10-07-05, 12:40 AM | So ony of my players came up with a clever way to close on the enemy, attack, and not leave himself vulnerable. He performed a charge action, and declared a -2 Expertise. Clever, I thought, using the -2 to hit/+2 AC to neutralize the +2 hit/-2 AC from charge, while retainign the double move and attack. I said no, but gave him 10 exp just for being clever. |

According to the description of Combat Expertise, you can only apply the bonus to either the attack action or full attack action. Charge is a special full-round action itself, different from the attack or full attack actions. |
