| Phantom Reaper11-03-04, 06:22 PM | I've had it with all the negative things on the boards, at home, and just about anywhere else about dnd or something relating to it. So I've made this thread to show some light on dnd. In this thread talk about the fun things that come from dnd it could be a favorite character, saying, or moto. It could be the time you got brougth in to dnd or when you brought someone into the game. It could be a good rule that your dm or group has. Just remember keep the karma positive so no flaming, ranting, or anything else negative towards players, dnd, or just about anything. So lets have some fun and let the good times roll. |

| Ice Wizard11-03-04, 09:28 PM | 11. Heated roleplaying sessions (not merely the fight scenes) where you can truly feel the drama of the scene come to life thorugh otuehr people's eyes. 12. Watching the events unfold as the characters of the group begin to understand each other more fully (Rare since most people don't play this aspect of life all too often). I can't think of anything else at the moment.... |
| Gryllmyre11-03-04, 09:33 PM | 13. Watching the fighter in the group take out EVERY hobgoblin that runs past him going after the sorceror (Combat Reflexes). |

Watching that newbie roll his/her first confirmed crit, gain confidence as a role-player, and eventually think of things that even the veteran players are too set in their ways to figure out. 27. Seeing the players survive a hard fight by creativity, guts, and the skin of their teeth. 28. Becoming so involved in the game that you forget that you're sitting in a grungy dorm lounge and not actually fighting a red dragon on a narrow ledge above a lava flow. 29. Having a character die saving the party. 30. The truly hilarious look on the DM's face when you think of something s/he didn't. 31. Well-role-played characters. |
