With the advent of the most powerful infinite damage/energy combination, the Jovoc Generator (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=592857), I was thinking what could be done with it. Some uses are obvious, others a touch more secretive and unseen. So, let's see what the possible users of the Generator could do?
To power a bomb (Duh)
Eternal lighting
Space travel (Use it as the source of power for the propellers on a ship, the thing reaches escape velocity pretty quickly)
Sadism and/or Masochism infinite boosting
An energy weapon (Seal the generator in a demiplane, then make a gate to said demiplane and stand well back)

Derivative of number 5: Boosters. Just brace the generator in such a way to provide output due Up, and through kickback, it should press on the surface of the planet. Silly planets and their imperfect orbits....

13. If they don't want to pay, blow em up and take the gold.
14. Create a demiplane in your image.
15. Block off all travel to your demiplane from anyone but yourself.
16. Become a Lich for a little more power, and then hide your phylactery on your demiplane.

23. Nuke France.
24. Reenact 8-Bit DnD
25. Sell it to any given god with a detonator built in, press the button, and plug your ears, then argue with your DM about the concept of killing a diety and stealing it's power.
26. Elevate yourself into godhood.
27. Idiot cleansing. Gather all the world's idiots and put them right in front of it, make it into a giant laser, and boom. No more idiots.
28. Kill the BBEG in any campaign, causing your DM to start pulling his/her hair out because you aren't supposed to beat a level 30 at level 14. Classic.

Infinite Power is boring. It's limitless and uncontrollable, which means any and all outcomes are positively going to happen, including those that even Infinite Power itself couldn't think of, were it to have a mind, which it must, since it's infinite. It just gets too confusing. We're talking cosmic here.

Now, Ultimate Power, Infinite Power's poor white trash cousin... that's interesting.

You could ninja that, or just call someone up on the phone to taunt them with promises of it:

"Ultimate Power."

Now you're talking something... worthy of... a thread...

No, sorry. It's just silly either way.

30. Kill Pun-Pun (and probably die in the process *shrugs*)

31. Force ideals on people, creating a new world in your image

32. Become a lich, make your phylactery a demiplane (Planeshifter10). Let good-aligned beings inhabit it. Watch paladins cry.

33. End every sentence with 'I dare ya!'

32. Become a lich, make your phylactery a demiplane (Planeshifter10). Let good-aligned beings inhabit it. Watch paladins cry.Either that or go to their Wizard buddies with questions about how to imprison a lich without killing it. Paladins ain't stupid, you know. (Or most of them aren't. Sometimes you'll run across one whose mount is smarter than he is... this is usually quite amusing when it occurs...)

Anyway...

33. Re-name yourself "Ao" and watch as the real Ao tries to figure out whether to challenge you
34. Hold the Prime Material hostage (and REALLY watch the Paladins cry)

35. Paladins always seem to be the victims of machinations like this; who says that the forces of good can't have horribly powerful superweapons?
I just have this image in my mind of a paladin sending a formal request for surrender to some evil wizard's tower and then attempting to meet with the wizard in person. In a typical BBEG move, the wizard promises to repent and then goes right back to nefarious scheming, opressing the people, and other generic misdeeds.

Soon thereafter, the clouds part above the tower, and a single beam of sunlight breaks free. A single beam that, of course, is being reflected off the exterior of a giant metal tube with the words Holy Annihilator written on the side in Celestial. The wizard is able to look out a window just before the light intensifies...

From a safe distance away, the paladin watches the mushroom cloud, calmly sipping a cup of tea and shaking his head in disapproval.
36. Kill the BBEG. Then kill the people who would revive the BBEG. Then kill the people who would revive the people who would revive the BBEG. Then...

37. Carve off a chunk of the world for use as your own private kingdom/island/moon, depending on size.

Oh, and a little (coincidental?) reference that I noticed on an earlier post in this thread:

38. I've said it before, and I shall say it again. [...] infinite damage implies infinite energy, and... well, assuming that the heat released by said blast didn't just incinerate everything, you'd probably get a ball of pure energy. Assuming we didn't all die, of course.

Kresalak's guide to destroying the universe.
Step 1: Get Javocian generator.
Step 2: Get Delayed Blast Fireball.
Step 3: Get planar portal.
Step 4: Drop DBF on Javocian Generator.
Step 5: Get the hell out of there.
Step 6: ???
Step 7: Profit!

Or maybe the nature of Javocs doesn't allow the energy to be released from the area of effect? If so, that's a 30 ft. circle of pure endless energy.

Or hell, it's magic already, just say it happens while the laws of physics are sleeping.

It should be noted that the Javocian Generator has limits. It does nothing more then produce infinite damage in a 30 ft. radius.

53. Start working on your evil monologue. Make it a 10-pager. With Infinite Power, people are gonna sit and listen, so you might as well make it big.
