If only casters are present (the party has split up accidentally), and you come across an arcane ooze, pour beer on it, and light the beer on fire. Wait ten minutes for the ooze to die. 3. Carry a large amount of booze on your person. If you are killed and eaten by a giant monster, there is a good chance it will be to drunk to take the rest of the party (If you are somehow immune to poison, there is no reason not to have a 60% alcohol content in your blood at all time. That goes triple for drunken masters.) 4. Refine it into a bomb. All of these things really happened. Since then, I always bring beer with me into a dungeon. |

| Prator_The_Golden12-01-07, 09:46 PM | 7. Get the MONSTERS hammered. Not always possible, but when it is, it'll help the situation AND make you feel better about it. 8. Get hammered along with the monsters. Just make sure one person's sober enough to drive the cart home. 9. Poison the beer, and then get the monsters "Hammered." Make sure you don't join them in this situation. |
| Mark_Aged12-01-07, 11:01 PM | 10. Fire breathing. Best to make sure you got a ring of fire immunity on if you don't know how to do it. |

| tharivol26612-02-07, 09:17 AM | i think i have to say now that beer is not flamable and neither is wine (unless it is already boiling) they simply do not have the alchohol content to combust. hard liquor on the other hand is another story (ale is beer so dont try that either) exceptions are those things known to be particularly strong like dwarven gut rot and orcish fire ale |

Suffice to say, it was alcoholic, and it burnt. |
| gixanthrax12-02-07, 11:31 AM | Not sure what beverage it was. Suffice to say, it was alcoholic, and it burnt. you will have a hard time to inflame any alcohol below 37,5% alcohol (or 75 proof as you might put it) |
| MrCustomer12-02-07, 03:10 PM | Alcohol below 40% proof is hard to impossible to burn. Bear and wine are not going to burn. While it is hard to get 40% to burn, mixed with other combustibles helps (like soaking a cloth in whiskey) Take note that Rums and Whiskeys and hard alcohols were often made overproof back in the day for easier shipping and storage in barrels, when served out it would be cut (watered down, ussually with 3 parts water and 1 part booze) so overproof alcohol would be easy to obtain. 12: Improvised Weapon, upon consumption of the booze, the bottle can be broken and used as a weapon. 13: Caltrops, sharp broken glass on the ground can limit movement in combat. Can also work as an alarm during watch (moving over broken glass will make Move Silently checks harder) 14: Detecting invisible foes, smashing a bottle of booze as an area attack could reveal invisible foes, also the broken glass and booze on the floor will continue to reveal their presence if they cross through the area and leave foot prints. 15: Healing rolls to stabalize the fallen, acts as a pain releaver and can clean wounds and medical equipment (like a knife for removing an arrow) 16: For use with Suggestion and Charm spells during combat. Reasonable courses of actions are less likely to fail, asking the target to harm itself by "hit yourself over the head until you are knocked out" will be refused, but asking him to drink until he passes out "have a wee drink with us" will be gladly accepted. 17: Fighting Dwarfs? Shout "Hey be careful, you'll spill my beer" and move about freely without risking attacks of opportunity. 18: Mug in one hand, Sword in the other, use it to make a Feint attack by tossing the drink into their face, if successful the next attack you get he won't have his Dex to his AC (and you can sneak attack him) |
| Shadowshimmer12-02-07, 06:51 PM | 19. May be a little old school but use the bottle of Liquor as a club/hammer and smash someone over the head with it. 20. Take mouthful of liquor, do not swallow and walk up to the potential enemy, smile and then spit every drop into their face. 21. Finish bottle of alcohol, pound the glass into small quantities and put it into the enemies food. Their is no antidote for eating broken glass. |
| KillerVole12-02-07, 08:08 PM | 22. Play a drunken master, and spew fire with it, convert it into Cure Light Wounds potions, and more! |
