I am working on a 1st level aasimar favored soul, and and stuck on his spell list.

the character hates being good and helping people, but has to do it any way because aziraphale always has aziraphale metaphoricaly looking over his shoulder. Imagine someone who feels moraly obligated to be the 'good guy' but would really just rather kick someone in the fork.

in case you dont know, the favored soul is as to the cleric as the sorceror is to the wizard.

the favored soul begins with three 1st level spells. the spells I am considering are:
Cure Light Woulds (with lots of spells per day, a favored soul is as good a better healer than a cleric)
Vigor, Lesser (im not sure about this one, as I already have CLW. in case you dont know, this spell gives the touched creature fast healing 1 for 10 rounds +1/caster level.)
Sheild of faith (I feel i should have a AC-booster)
Nimbus of Light (I already have javelins, so Im not sure if I need another ranged attack this early in my career.)

Also, I am in a dilemma about his mental ability stats. like any divine spellcaster, a favored soul can have an inteligence of 6 and not be fazed, but this class has it's spell-stats split between cha and wis. wis affects spell DC, but cha gives bonus spells and sets the limit on the highest level spell you can cast. As i only get 5 stat increases, and I want to put one in dex, and yet i need to keep my wis decent (im using 32 point buy, by the way). I could pull points out of con, but I want a high-hit point character. with the assimar's +2 to both these stats, they can both be fairly high. what would the optimum balance between these stats?

I've been in the process of making fav. souls some time ago. What you must think of first is what you are going to do: Beat people up with spells, or aid your party with spells. Since if you want to choose the latter, you could leave your DC down a little, while increasing your charisma. At the other hand, if you do want to be a spell-caster beat-em-up, you could better consider getting both Cha and Wis upto 15 (I believe that's 8 points?). Your aasimar then will make it 17 that's enough.
