32 point buy system? [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-22-06, 09:32 AM Exactly like Neverwinter Nights, except there it's a 28 point-buy system.

That is, you get 32 points to distribute amongst your scores. Higher scores cost more to raise than lower scores, though. Look in the DMG to see a table of costs. (The costs themselves don't change in point-buys, only the available points to spend.)
