A "Master Player Competition" Request [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-15-05, 10:27 PM Recently, more and more Master Player Competitions have been coming into existence, with even more people planning to make one. I do not mean this as a flame or insult to anyone on the boards, but all these master competitions seem a bit awkward. As a request and suggestion the boards as a whole, would it not be better if we dropped the name? With all these competitions it seems more convenient.

On a side-note, this may have been better off posted in the individual competition boards, but I didn't want to make it seem like an attack on any particular contest host. Any thoughts on if it would have been better served as a post in an already started topic?

11-15-05, 10:54 PM There have only been 3, and that was due to a splitting of "alliegence" if you will. All has been sorted (with the exception of my judge status :confused: ) and there won't be any extra's poping up anytime soon.

11-15-05, 11:55 PM hamster asked me to judge, and i said yes, but then i thought about it and i think i would really like to partake in the actual compititions. I am just going to cool on the back burner and see what happens. If you need any help that would would still let me partake in the contests, i am willing to help. If my help is not needed, then all the better, becuse that means things are going smoothly.

I'm not so sure, I've heard talk of people intending to give it a try. (even I'm pondering giving it a shot) If it is true, tough, you're right. There probably isn't much point. :)

11-16-05, 09:49 PM Talk to me or sybill, we're the "official" judges now. Kinda, atleast. My competition is (voluntarily) shut down, and me and sybill are now cooperating to work on this one.
