What class/PrC/feats/ anything would make a kind of fighter that either relied on their intelligence and speed more than their strength, or fighting dirty, or maybe an opportunist kind of person. Some examples:

Elocater
Duelist
Monk
Ranger

Just to get an idea of what I mean. People that fight as well use skills, but when they do fight, they fight MY kind of way.

Well in forgotton realms, theres a prestige class for elfs and half elves that is called a blade singer.

"Bladesingers are elves who have blended art, sword play, and arcane magic into a harmonious whole."

Basically they're dudes who dudes who use singing to enhance their weapons with magical traits (In a nutshell). They are fighters, but use their speed in combat, with a little mix of magic. I think its just what your looking for, but if anyone has anything better, feel free to tell me.

Check out the Swashbuckler in the Complete Warrior. Looks like exactly what you're looking for.

Don't underestimate rogue as a combat oriented rougey-type character :D

Ninja of the Cresent Moon is from Sword and Fist I believe (might be from Song and Silence, though), and there is a ninja class in the oriental adventures book, too.

Why not just multi ranger and rogue? Maybe work into the duelist?
There are a couple in the Complete Warrior that may help out, but by and large I think that you've got all the tools, you just have to figure out exactly how you want to use them to maximize your ideal.

She's a human, multiclassing Ftr/Rog. At first, I was going to go for the Duelist, or maybe the Thief-Acrobat (both found in S&F), but while surfing the Net I came across the Treyvan Blademaster, which is even more fun! You get an armor (and later also attack) bonus for Int, and lots of nifty abilities which do not per se increase damage, but make you all the more accurate and quick.

The setting has a tiered PrC system, where a requirement for a PrC (such as the Dua Spada) is an ability you gain at 5th level Blademaster..
I loved it, the DM approved it, and here I am on my way..

I find it works best if you progress like this:
Rog1
Ftr1/Rog1
Ftr2/Rog1
Ftr2/Rog2
Ftr3/Rog2
Ftr3/Rog3
Ftr4/Rog3
Ftr4/Rog3/Blm1
....

Good luck!

Cheers,
KW
