I am makign a character to be the backup to my current caracter in a campaign - I'm picking a druid mainly because I actually find I have never played one. With that in mind. .what woudl the general POV of a neutral good Druid be? Just looking for brainstorms, more or less.

NG is likely the hardest alignment for druids to play (if the DM is doing his job right ;) ). Druids have an obligation to the natural world. Humanoids have a natural need to destroy it (cutting down trees, building houses, introducing foreign organisms, creating monocultures). Humanoids are just trying to make a living but their actions are obviously detrimental. Being good, you just can't use your obviously powerful arsenal to kill or at least injure those who seek to corrupt nature, you have to use peaceful means (and we all know how effective those are  ). Maintaining a balanced allegiance to both man and nature is difficult.

To take the easy way out you can simply swear vengeance on evil unnatural lifeforms, aberrations, undead and outsiders. They pose a threat to nature, but you don't have to worry about the consequences of killing them on mass.

I know what neutral good is, I know what a Druidic ethos is, what I am trying for is ideas on how to MESH the two.

Such as the second reply.

You may see humanity as yet another creature in your care, who you would seek to guide and protect.
Following this ethos, you could also understand and support their natural dependency on nature, just as the wolf hunts for it's food and the termite levels trees.
You could actively encourage humans to both take wood and plant new trees, to hunt responsibly and take only what they need.

Simply put, you can be an eco-hippy.

The way I played a goodly druid once, If someone is actively corrupting nature, you find them, and if you are certain they are beyond reason and redemption, seek to incapacitate them, remove their source of power. If truly necessary, you kill them, then mourn for them, refuse any reward for your deed as you had to sink so low to achieve it. You give them a full funeral, you place a monument in their memory. You violently berate any who congratulate you.

That said, it was something of an angsty character.
