A Great Fair well [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-23-07, 12:19 AM Well my DM is currently being an ass in his Eberron campaign. He turns every situation against us, I know this because of a few simple facts. 1.) I've play with him for years now and I know his way of thinking. 2.) I DM myself, and its really horrible on what he is doing on his part ( Leading by the nose, and then 180 plot twists at every encounter). 3. He doesn't prepare for any of his sessions, he wings them all. He says he makes them up as he goes and claims to be a good DM, because he can wing it, but its more of which path do you take? Oh the right sorry that path was the path of impending doom.

Well I want to keep his game, but I don't want to do it in a simple way, I want to go out with a big bang. I'm a kalashtar Psion in his game.

Here was my original Idea. "I'll just use my greater psionic teleport (so you can't screw me out on a mishap) to return to Adar" But then I thought, he already would have a way to counter that. "The Inspired had lay siege to Adar" which I know is near impossible.

So my next Idea was that after that would happen. "I would use greater psionic teleport again, but only I'd teleport behind the Tarrasque, then I would use True Mind Swap, and pray that I don't fail, or that it doesn't turn around."

Will my plain work? Also any Ideas on a great fair well?

04-23-07, 12:44 AM if your dm's as much of an ass as you claim, it will fail.

Pretty much any plan you come up with to "go out with a bang" will fail. I suggest just telling him "you are being an ass, i am quitting". You said you dm yourself, run your own game. You can even invite him, so long as you are both mature enough not to be ass'es to each other during that one.
