| Kremlyn02-01-07, 03:35 AM | Hello fellows, I'm having some serious issues roleplaying a 16 year human bard with 10 points in intelligence and 9 points in wisdom. As a player I'm thinking way faster than I imagine my character to, thus making it difficult to play out puzzles and such. Now the problem lies within the game. My DM doesn't really care one way or another how I go about playing my character. On a personal level I despise meta-gaming, and since my DM has decided to award experience for roleplaying one can easily see where I run into problems. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to roleplay a low intelligence/wisdom character? Thanks, Kremlyn |

Now, a 10 is commonly thought of as the average - meaning, that your bard is about as smart as Mr. Joe Normal... Likewise, a wisdom of 9 doesn't - in my book - mean a low wisdom; it is slightly below average - but not unfitting for a 16 years old human... |

If you know the answer to something that you think your character might not, all you have to do is say, "Oh... this is an old one. This same riddle was posed to Sir Smellypants on his quest for the Golden Backscratcher. The answer is..." Easy as pie. |
