Well I've been building this one quite well...and I have already planned out all of his 20 lvls so far, lemme know what y'all think about it...

B.Sorcerer(Battle Sorcerer from Unearthed Arcana)5/Fighter5/Runesmith(or perhaps Battlesmith instead)5/Clerc5

That would make an hell of a dwarf, no ?

Also what would be the best prestige class for an arcane spellcaster ?

Well, you have enough CLR and SOR lvls to take the Mystic Theurge PrC. you have the reqs for the Arcane Archer. You can be a Dragon Disciple.

In your case, I would go with the Eldritch Knight.

At least look at the PrC, it is in the Complete Warrior. It is called spellsword though specifically says can be used with any melee weapon. Also allows for armored spell casting, is quite nice really.

Also, FYI, the suggestion would not be made if it did not fit the qualifications you had set, think about that next time you ask for advise.

And your welcome!

My most sincere apologizes, then, sire. I shall be more specific next time. and yes know whats the spellsword, I've had Tome & Blood since a long time ago...I've got the Complete Warrior as well, never took the time to look at the 3.5 version of it though, maybe I should.

Rune Caster is a nice Dwarf Caster, more sutted to wizard though...

Is Sorcerer a good choice for a Dwarf, considering the Cha penalty?

It is, I've got a charisma score of 14, even with my -2 racial ability !

Well, they even say you can call it Spell Axe in their description...just looked thru the PrC in question, and it doesn't look too interesting, its more suitable for a wizard then for a sorcerer IMHO. Ignoring spell failure % and wearing heavy armor is cool, but not for a BATTLE Sorcerer !

Well, if you want caster level and BAB brokeness, go Fighter 1/Battle Sorcerer 8/Eldritch Knight 10/Spellsword 1. You gain: casting in light armor, all weapon and armor proficiencies, BAB +18, and CL 18. Just an opinion.

What do you anglophones, mean anyway by calling something ''broken'' ?

That's hardly broken. It has a lower CL and fewer hp than a full Battle Sorcerer, +3 more BAB, and slightly more interesting class features. Not much of a difference, really. The Battle Sorcerer benefits less than other Arcane casters from a full BAB PrC.

It just means powerful to an excessive/unbalanced extent. People call Druids and Clerics broken, because they can fight as well as fighting classes, while still casting 9th level spells. Shapechange is "broken", because you can gain many abilities that were not intended for pcs to have.

Since you get to wear light armor for free, you could instead use the ability to ignore spell failure to wear a shield while casting. That seems handy for a Battle Sorcerer.

Humm, din't though about that, I'll reconsider this option then...
