'Lo all,
I've been poking around my books to find a PrC like this, but I can't find one for the life of me. Normally, I would just take a level of fighter, but alas, i'd start taking XP penalties. I thought i'd found one with the Dread Pirate, as i'm looking for TWF/improved TWF as a bonus feat, but that has feat prereqs, so i'm back to square one. I've looked all through my completes and I can't find a PrC like this. Anybody know one, off the top of their heads? Thanks a bunch.

Eldritch Knight. If you qualify for it.

Unfortunately I don't fit the martial weapon proficiency prereqs for EK. Also, I won't be able to take it later to improve my Sublime Chord spellcasting if I take it now, and that is a bad bad thing. I should probably post what i'm aiming for, here: Bard 8/(bonus feat thing)1/Cleric 1/Sublime Chord2. I'm making a TWF bard, the cleric level is for the Divine Might feat, and i'm making all attempts to get ITWF by 12th.

What race are you? If you're human, you could take a level of Fighter and not take EXP penalties. Thus, once again, humans rock.

If you're not a human, you still have the option of taking TWF at 12th level, since you get a feat at that point normally. Other than that, I can't seem to think of anything other than waiting for 15th level to get ITWF.

Well the CoCL has one but such narrow reqs, it's tough to get into.

I am a human, yes, but i've already got a level of cleric and 8 of bard, so adding a level of fighter will give me xp penalties. Feats-wise, i've taken:
1-Words of Creation
Human-Song of the Heart
3-Two-weapon fighting
6-Power Attack
9-Divine Might
12-Snowflake Wardance.

The character's still in the creation process, so the feats are malleable still. I'm still poking around for that prc, i've found like 894369324690846306 of them that give bonus feats at 2nd but nothing that'll give it at first. Thanks for all your help so far, though, guys.

Well, it all depends on your favoured class. If you're human, set your favoured class to bard. That way, it doesn't count towards any xp penalty, and being 1 cleric / 1 fighter is still within the range where you don't take an xp penalty.

If your a race whose favoured class is cleric, then you'll have to seek out a prestige class.

If your favoured class is neither cleric nor bard, you'll be taking an xp penalty no matter what you choose, as the bard 8 cleric 1 combo nets you an xp penalty.

Good luck, the two-weapon fighting bard seems like an interesting choice to see played.

No you won't.

Ftr1/Cle1/Brd8 won't give you an XP penalty when you are human. Human's favoured class is their HIGHEST class. In this case, that would be Bard. Since Ftr and Cle is within +/-1 of each other, you are fine.

With TWF and a medium BAB class, I would forget PA and take something else. Your ABs are already bad enough as is. PA will just make it worse.

Do you use Unearthed Arcana? Flaws can be taken at any point in your career and grant a bonus feat. You can't have more than 2 flaws and therefore won't get more than 2 bonus feats, but it may prove to be useful enough.

Very correct!

As a human, you won't take any XP pentalty unless the DM has house-ruled it.

Also, remember that PrCs don't count towards multiclass penalties.

As others have said, a human bard 8/cleric 1/fighter 1 is safe from XP penalties.

Two Weapon Fighting is rarely optimal unless you have some kind of add on damage, like sneak attack dice or several type of class bonuses to stack up.

I'd say 2 levels of fighter one for 2wf and i2wf or the flaw idea would probably be your best bet

If you take a level of fighter, if you took another, and then one of Eldritch Knight, you'd get another two bonus feats.

Unless there is some errata that I am unaware of, flaws can only be taken at first level. Take the fighter level.

You sure can take them after 1st level. However, it requires DM approval. It is recommended that you cannot gain a new flaw more than every 5 levels.
