| Velis_SilKorma12-22-04, 12:58 PM | ok, so i like playing wizards, i dunno they r just fun, but my last one....well i just cant top him, so im tryin someting else. im building an old char. from my 2nd ed. days and hes a half-silver fighter. well, i was wondering, since he's already got natural ac do, for example an amulet of natural ac +5, stack w/ existing ac or just overlap so if he has a +4 natualr ac then the +5 from the amulet give him only now a +5? this is why i liked wizards, so simple in a wierd messed up way. |
| Bringslite12-22-04, 02:43 PM | Natural armor bonuses do not stack. Only the best applies. |
| jera12-22-04, 05:41 PM | now going on what this thread started from and not wanting to start a new thread ive got a question my current capaign im a monk somewhere in a book i was looking through at barnes and noble i see a rule that says monks add there wisdom to their AC while unarmered now a frien of mine says the wisdom only applies to reflex saves instead of AC even though the 3.0 monk charecter sheets had a slot for the wisdom modifier so heres my question do monks add their wisdom to their AC? |
| eudas12-22-04, 05:53 PM | You're wasting our time. Go read the SRD, ClassesI.rtf and ClassesII.rtf. eudas |

In 3.5 the amulet of natural armor provides an [Enhancement] bonus to your existing [Natural Armor]. So an Amulet of Natural armor +5 would increase your natural armor bonus to +9. |
| Morwen12-23-04, 05:26 AM | so heres my question do monks add their wisdom to their AC? Yes, they add their wisdom modifier to AC. Not to saves. |

| jera12-28-04, 01:12 PM | what books can i use to cross reference the monk AC rule? |
| warok12-28-04, 01:49 PM | the player's handbook of course, it has everything a player needs to play cept magic items :P which are in the dmg for some reason or like someone above said use the FREE online SRD which has all the core rules that you can download, see sig for links |
| e-z0r12-28-04, 02:00 PM | Personally, I like this SRD much better. Easier to use. http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/home.html |
