Hey All!

I need your help.

I want to create a Dwarven Knife-Fighter who weilds 2 knives/daggers (I was thinking Butterfly Knives) and wears nothing up top but tatooes. :D

So, I was wondering if anyone had thoughts on certain feats, classes, weapons, etc that I should be checking out.

I know the basic PHB stuff, but maybe I am missing something in some of the other books (I don't have them all, but I probably could get access to most). So if you know of something cool in another book you think I should have, let me know!

AC is going to be a problem, but I was thinking of giving him some Bracers of Armour to off-set that a little.

He will be 6th level. I was thinking straight fighter would be best, but maybe a couple of Rogue? He will have high strength and constitution i figure and a half-decent dex.

That's all I really have thus far. Oh, and of course two-weapon feats.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

The Invisible Blade PrC from Complete Warrior should be perfect for this. It's an unarmored knife-fighting meleer, its powers only work when using daggers, punching daggers, or kukris, and not wearing any armor. Highlights include feinting as a free action and adding Int to AC. Multiclass rogue/fighter would be the easiest way to get in due to the feat and skill requirements, and what luck, dwarves have favored class Fighter.

Hey thanks Shaggy (why do I feel that should be said in a Scooby voice? :D )

That PrC looks pretty cool. I guess I will have to make a smart Dwarven Knife-Fighter now.

My feat selection is going to be crucial.

The one thing I don't really understand about the Invisible Blade is the Required feats of Point Blank Shot and Far Shot - is this a typo??

Anyone have any ideas for feats?

Thanks.

Hey thanks Shaggy (why do I feel that should be said in a Scooby voice? :D )
It's a reference to ICP rather than Scooby Doo, actually.

I heard the PrC was originally a 10 level PrC and the feats made more sense with the other 5 levels of it, but they cut it down to 5 and now the feats look rather nonsensical. They are useful, though - 20' range increment rather than 10' with a thrown dagger makes a lot of difference when you have to kill someone you're not right on top of.

Other feats you might want to consider (in the long term) are Craven from Champions of Ruin (crank up SA damage at cost of fear saves), Weapon Finesse (if you don't have enough abilities to go around, screw Str and attack with Dex), Precise Shot (you'd already be so close to qualifying for the Master Thrower PrC in the same book, it'd give you somewhere to go after Invisible Blade), or possibly the feat chain up to Double Hit in Miniatures Handbook and Karmic Strike in Complete Warrior.

the good thing about the requirements it is that you also can join easily master thrower so you are the ultimate dagger fighter in both close quarters or range.
Another good option it is the reaping mauler.
