A wierd experiment, need opinions. [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-03-05, 07:45 PM I've had this idea for a character for a long time now. What would it be like to give him or her only 1 level in a base class, and then take a level in another? I want opinions.

04-03-05, 07:49 PM That's pretty normal. Just be careful the DM doesn't scream "munchkin"- like for a Sorcerer 1/Samurai 9/Dragon Disciple 10 or somesuch. Out of curiosity, which classes are you planning on taking?

04-03-05, 07:54 PM The character is a Cansin (Dragon Magazine Planetouched). I plan on taking Assassin ASAP, so maybe something like Rogue 1/ Sorcerer 1/ Hexblade 1/ Warlock 1/ Fighter 1. And my DM accepts just about anything.

04-03-05, 08:06 PM Holy Ao! That actually might work! Your BAB, however, will be shot if you don't ask your DM to implement the fractional BAB rules from Unearthed Arcana. Oh, and if you do make this character, please post and tell me if it worked. It sounds like a great idea!
