Since you're gonna be a psion intelligence (more con is nice too) is really the only one that especially matters much, so I would say no.

As a matter of curiousity, if those are the stats you rolled, what's the need to ask if they're over-the-top?

was your DM there when you rolled them?

... I've dealt with to many people and their friends who swore they rolled them as is.

When I DM, I really do prefer players to roll in front of me ... that way *I* can fudge the rolls when they bomb out (reroll those two 1's ... okay, reroll those two 1's again ... for poop's sake who rolls snake eyes 3 times in row ... give me those *rolls* ... there a 4 and 5 ... much better!)

besides I like to be there for character creation so I can get an early feel of what the players I thinking.

Dude, if you showed up to my table with those stats you'd be re-rolling them. At my games all players roll 4d6 in front of each other, or can opt for a 28 point buy if they don't like the randomness of rolling. I'd have to know what methods ya'll are using to honestly say whether or not they're overpowered for the game. If you're using the standard 4d6, then yes - they look a little high. If you're using 5d6 seven times, re-roll ones and take the six highest then I'd say you're spot-on for the power level.

If my math is correct, your array equates to a 59 point buy. That's more than twice the 28 we use in our games. But Ability Scores are always relative. As long as everyone else has scores in the neighborhood of a 55-60 point buy, no one is "overpowered."
