I am currently playing a new evil campaign and the objective right now is that we got hired to make the mayor of a city have a "accident" and it was going to be who could kill him first. unluckly for me the wo other people im playing with decided to team up. ones a assasin and the other is a shadow dancer. right now we're all at lvl 10 and unluckly for me i am playing as a ranger. the reason why i am here is to find any good ideas on how to kill him before the others while still making it look like a accident.

Any ideas?

Can you Charm Animals? If so, take this to the Mature Forums... :evillaugh

Edit: If not, you still have Animal Empathy, etc., correct? See if you can get his horse to throw him, or his carriage team to go too fast around a curve, someone ELSE'S horse to trample him, etc.

If the mayor is the ladder-climbing power-hungry type, there's always the old Head of Vecna gag.

Oop, just noticed that was the OP's first post here, the gag may not be old to him.

So, here's a link to the old Head of Vecna (http://users.tkk.fi/~vesanto/link.fun/stupid.pcs.html) gag.

Ok, that old gag, may be old, but funny. First I've ever read of it.

As for the OP, animals would be your best way to go. But, if you are playing the archery based ranger, and evil at that, you could see if their are any known groups about. Like orcs, goblins, or what have you. Get a few of their arrows, and snipe kill him. Normally that will set up the other group for the fall rather well.

Or you could play the "savior" as it were. Save the mayor from your bodies, which allows you (one can hope) to get in close and poison him.

You can weaken steps he is known to walk on in hopes he trips down the steps.

Emmm... I just had an amusing idea for a trip wire. Make it out of spider thread that also has an ignitor on it. (you know how we have the old, pull the line and blow the noisey cap toy for gags on toilets, etc.?) well something small like that and after the cord is tripped, the ignitor sets the silk aflame. No remains left of the cord and investators probably won't be able to figure out what happened.

if he say, steps on a nail (that happened to be poisoned) that would also be an "accident"

ROFL!

Thats the first time iv read that, and it cracks me up. I wonder what group ended up winning that little quest to destroy each other?
